Who is Jonathan ?

Jonathan was born in rural village in England with no traffic lights yet has had travel in his blood all his life, and a particular passion for France, where he spent most of his childhood.

Having returned to England he gained a degree in French and History and took his first steps in the travel industry : running balloon flights over the Loire Valley.

His wanderlust has taken him to the US for 7 years, again working in the travel industry and eventually becoming Sales Director in San Francsico. 

He has worked in the travel industry for 29 years and has lived in his beloved Paris for the past 20 where he works as a Travel Director and fully licensed Local Guide for leading travel companies as well as presenting television documentaries and performing voice overs.

He has appeared presenting Paris (and Rome) on Netflix (the ‘Metropolis’ series), the Travel Channel and the Samantha Brown series.

Jonathan has followed his heart and married a French lady who is the love of his life. He has dual French and British nationality. His wife forgives him the latter.

Jonathan speaks English, French, Italian and German.
